Children’s Ministry
BASEkids is our Sunday children’s Christian education programme. It runs during the 9.30am service, in blocks of three or four weeks, all year round.
We use a great curriculum to teach primary school aged children the basics of the bible and Christian faith.
BASEkids also means children are involved in the liturgy of the Eucharist, the best way of remembering Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.
We want our children to grow in worship and prayer as well as in understanding and knowledge

St John’s Play Group
ST JOHN’S PLAY GROUP run on Wednesday and Thursday mornings during school term, from 9.30 to 11.30 in the Jef Cooper Education Centre (behind the church building off Tucker Rd).
FRIENDSHIP AND SUPPORT for mothers and carers, TOYS AND CRAFTS for toddlers and preschoolers, CARING PARISH GRANNIES for an extra lap and helping hands, and a gentle approach to bible stories, songs and prayers suitable for small children.
