INTRODUCING OUR NEW VICAR
The Revd Robin Elliott
The Revd Robin Elliott is currently a chaplain at Trinity College in the University of Melbourne. After graduating in Arts Robin worked and travelled overseas before entering St Barnabas Theological College in his early thirties. He was ordained priest in Adelaide on February 4th 1995. He had experience in two Adelaide parishes as Curate and then 5 years as Priest in Charge of the Parish of Kapunda in the Diocese of Adelaide. From 2003–2007 he was Rector of the Parish of Bass-Phillip Island in the Diocese of Gippsland. He moved to Melbourne early this year as living in Melbourne was more compatible with his wife's work. His desire to return to parish work led to his interest in coming to St John's.
In his CV Robin said the dominant themes of his ministry have been welcome, hospitality, encouragement and inclusion and he is committed to ecumenism. His wife Susannah is a musician, singer, singing teacher and researcher.
The induction will be on Monday December 15th at 7pm.
